Postcard cartoon by Ernest Cavanagh. Satirising William Martin Murphy and the Scottish Borderers and listing people killed in the 1913 baton charge and the 1914 shootings at Bachelors Walk.

 

requisition order / Hotel Metropole, 1916

Requisition receipt signed by Liam Ua Teannáim (Liam Tannam) 'on behalf of the Irish Republic', for twelve mattresses and twelve pillows from the Hotel Metropole. These items were for use by wounded insurgents at the General Post Office during Easter week 1916.
