Turkish Star / Turkish Star, Gallipoli, WWI
Turkish Star for the Gallipoli Compaign. A five pointed zinc star, each ray terminating in a small metal ball and filled in red enamel. In the centre a crescent and within the Sultan’s Toughra or cypher and a character representing El Ghazi (The Victorious). Below in Turkish figures is 333 (1915).
